This reel was made when Shakespeare took over the Medalist line. This is the widebody version of the smaller 1492 reel and is very well suited when you need a smaller reel for a small rod, but want to use a 4-6 weight line. This one was very lightly used and functions well and has 99% of its finish. I also have an extra spool for it in the store, if you need one.
